Charles Palfrey- Welcome to world little man!
On the night of Sunday 16th July, Kate gave birth to our third child, Charles (Charlie).
He was 3.5kg and healthy. So far he is fitting in very well at home and much loved by Toby (5) and Annabel (2 years old today!!).
Hectic?….ummm…YEP!
Wow. Busy year so far, but the past few weeks and next few are proving to be a challenge. (more…)
Team Perini in final stages of World title defense
Richard Perini’s Farr40, Team Evolution finished 5th last week in the North American title, held at Newport Rhode Island.
The boys had a bad start to the event in placing 19th and 12th in the first two heats. From that point they sailed as well as anyone to climb back to 5th by the last race. (more…)
Sailing Stars in Portugal – July 06
Iain and I recently placed 4th in the Cascais International Race Week, held in Portugal.
It was a small fleet of 9 boats, but the quality was very high. The reason for us travelling all the way to Lisbon for such a small event is that this location has a huge bearing on our quest to represent Australia at the Bejing Olympics. (more…)
